See where your money goes
Gastos reads the statement file you download from your bank or card and sorts every purchase: groceries, dining, gas, flights and more. It splits personal from business, shows your spending month by month, and makes an Excel report you can keep or send to your accountant. If you travel, it also finds your trips and shows what each one cost.

Which statement do you want to sort?
The file is read by the browser on this device and nowhere else. This page has no server and no account, so there is nothing that could keep a copy. Close the tab and your statement is gone. To come back to it next month, download the transactions CSV below and open it here again.
Keeps only your category fixes, Business and Ask my CPA ticks, notes, trips and budgets, in this browser, so next month's statement is sorted the way you like. Never the statement itself.
Where it went
Trips
Trips are found from where you spent: days of purchases away from home become a trip, with the flights and stays you booked ahead. Each trip gets its own tab here and its own sheet in the Excel download. Rename a trip, fix its dates or mark it as business with Edit, or add one yourself.
Month by month
Transactions
Change a category or tick Business and it applies to every transaction from that merchant. Tap a category above to look at just that one.
Download the sorted files
Your statement stays on this device: nothing is uploaded. How privacy works.
Works with CSV exports from Citi, Discover, Capital One, Truist, Chase, American Express, Bank of America, and most other banks. Re-open a file you downloaded from here and your categories come back with it.
Where should your paycheck go?
Five buckets, the same every month. Enter what you earn and the plan is built on what actually lands in your account after taxes, so you never plan with money that is not yours.
Taxes are a 2026 estimate using the standard deduction only: federal brackets, Social Security 6.2% up to $184,500 of wages, Medicare 1.45%, plus the state rate you enter. Tax credits, 401(k) contributions and health premiums are not included, so your real paycheck may differ a little. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere.
